The Farmers State Bank is pleased to announce the addition of Greg J. Bonner as Loan Officer. Greg brings 14 years community banking experience in business development, specializing in commercial and construction lending. He will be originating consumer, construction, commercial and mortgage loans in Tippecanoe, White and surrounding counties. Greg has been trained in lending at the Indiana Bankers Association. He has been involved in various organizations including the United Way, Meals on Wheels, and a past sponsor of a veteran on the Honor Flight.

Dan Fleming joined The Farmers State Bank as Branch Manager of the Brookston office in February 2014. He is a graduate of Indiana State University and has fourteen years of experience in consumer and small business banking. Dan is a licensed life, accident, and health insurance agent in Indiana. He is also a licensed FINRA Series 6 and 63 investment agent. Dan is a member and past president of the Lafayette Business to Business Networking Group as well as a member of the Tippecanoe Masonic Lodge 492.

Janice Houston joined The Farmers State Bank as AVP of Retail Branch Operations in November 2013. She has over 27 years of experience in the financial industry and has spent the last 22 years advising businesses and consumers how to grow and manage their cash flow, assisting with loan needs, payment acceptance, payroll and cash management needs. Janice has been on the Montgomery County Animal Welfare League Board, serving as President for 3 years. She is a member of the Hillsboro Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, American Legion Ladies Auxillary Post 72, Indiana Business and Professional Women, and a 5 year member of Harley Owners Group( HOG).

The Farmers State Bank was recognized as a Five Star Member of the Indiana Bankers Association (IBA) at the IBA Mega Conference on April 29 in downtown Indianapolis. The bank earned the award in recognition of its commitment to the IBA in the areas of political awareness, issues advocacy, life-long learning, volunteerism and Preferred Service Provider utilization.

The Indiana Bankers Association supports Indiana banking through issues analysis, professional education, and products and services that enhance financial institutions ability to serve their communities.
